Polyamory (Pol-y-am-o-ry) Defined:

The philosophy or state of being in love or romantically involved with more than one person at the same time

If polyamory is like a tree, there are many different branches and “types” of loving relationships that grow from it. Some say that there are two basic rules that qualify a relationship as poly:

  1. Committed relationships with more than one person
  2. Everyone in the relationships know about and consent to each other’s involvement

Songs with Polyamory:

  • Can’t Help But Fly” (The Poly Song)” – by Naima Infinity and Be Steady on SoundCloud. Dani can NOT get enough of this song. Not only is the artist queer and proclaiming about another woman, but the vibe and freedom of it matches Dani’s heartbeat and thoughts of Love in such a harmonious way.

Here is presentation Dani did for her American Sign Language Class on the topic, and below it you will find more resources about this fairly unknown, yet undoubtedly growing category of relationship types.
